Cumber

"Cumber" is a friend of Violet Kiteway's. He works at the Central Archives of the Perplex City Library, and was the guy who tracked down the copy of The Third Power, the Archers and the City of Dawn: An investigation into the Power of the Perplex City Cube and those who have guarded it by Andrew Lencival.

His nickname at school was Cucumber. Kids say the damndest things...
