* The house contains a number of secret rooms and compartments
* One of these is in the panelling in the garden salon, found by [[Scarlett]] while she was staying there. When opened, it was found to contain only cleaning supplies.

* Another secret compartment was found in an alcove near the main bedroom
** It was a picture of a lighthouse in a mosaic frame, with raised tiles that were able to be rotated
