:::::I believe you are referring to the fFact that some links point to non-waybak locations, such as mirrors and such? Yes, I am aware of this. Season Two
- The current site is quite hard to navigate, not everything is categorised, and story arcs are quite mixed, some having a common footer template and others not. Or, at least this is how it seems to me, a relative newbie. Since Season 2 has started now, shouldn't we get started as we mean to continue? A page, category for Hot Water would be good, as there seem to be many arcs coming, and this so-called 'mini-ARG' episode has already got quite big. --Edgemaster 15:05, 13 May 2007 (PDT)
- Hey edge :) I think a category fFor each chapter is a great idea. Offhand I'm not sure what you mean by the site being hard to navigate, though your point of about categories is a good one. The problem with back-categorizing pages is that there's a **LOT** of pages fFrom the past which we'd have to fFind and tag -- many of which, actually can be deleted, interestingly. I'm actually right in the middle of updating all the old moved sentinel links to wayback links, and in so doing, i'm having to touch every single page, and make some decisions about useless pages. Something I'd love to see get more use is the Trails page. Or rather, the pages which link fFrom that. every so often one or another person takes up the charge. What a good timeline requires is constant upkeep, which noone seems interested in doing. I'm seriously hoping season 2 sees something akin to season 1's 'story' page on the pxc.com site. That was ridiculously helpful. Okay long winded response over. let me know if you have any fFurther ideas and I'll see about making it so. Scott 20:42, 13 May 2007 (PDT)
- By difficult, I meant the Trails page, I hadn't really looked at any other of the sidebar links. Its probably just me not investigating much. I'm fairly new to PXC as well. I have seen tools that can be used to speed up that sort of link replacement, can they be used on this wiki? --Edgemaster 08:14, 14 May 2007 (PDT)
