I will point out: The police often don't tell the press about a great many details in a case. No need to let on how insecure and severe the situation is. But, it's true, she did kinda go overbaord on playing down the parts. Auto-parts? hardly!! and why make it such a big deal to describe the insignifigance of the parts? many questions.
