Olorin: maybe we should start listing the attempts that have been made to decode this number, even if they failed? Just so that nobody ends up repeating the same attempts?

Christian Synthare: This might be a longshot, but there is a programming language called 23 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/23_programming_language) which is made up entirely of groups of 2 and 3 numbers.
