After following Monday 21 March clues in an advertisement in the UK Guardian, we were led to perplexcitysentinel.com. This is the website of a newspaper called the Perplex City Sentinel and provides news of all the goings-on in Perplex City.
As of this update, there are many sections to which we cannot gain access due to needing some sort of "key". A subscriptions option is available, but as yet is not active.
Important bits...
- In an opinionated article, Sente Kiteway is attacked for not providing enough security and his plan of enlisting the aid of people from "Earth" is called into question as it appears that nobody outside of the Perplex City Academy is able to determine if Earth even exists.
- Ceretin is prominent in all of the advertisements on the Sentinel site. Speculation at present is that it is some kind of cognitive enhancing drug.
- A subscription to Perplex City Sentinel will cost you PCL70 (70 Perplex City Lecks)
- The main bank of PPC seems to be "PCBC - The World's Smartest Bank"
- There is some sort of game or sport called the "City Council Classic" from which sportsman Jackson Nuru has been ejected due to suspected use of "cognitive enhancers" Hearing scheduled for 28 March.
While other articles exist, these seem to be the most prominent and thus are mentioned here.
