General

Evan Chan is a bit of an in-joke. Little more.

In early 2001, as Stephen Spielburg and Stanley Kubrick's film "A.I.: Artifical Intelligence" was hitting theaters, a media engine was taking shape, promoting the idea of secret organizations and artificial intelligence as realty. But an Alternate Reality. And a group people, who would become known as "Cloudmakers", was formed.

At the center of all this was the death of Evan Chan. A global whodunnit of epic proportions took shape, with a collective detective at the scene of the crime.

The Evan Chan who lives in Perplex City is an homage to that great old game.
