- The Mazy River runs through Perplex City
- To the west of the city, it forks off to Black Fork River
- Thought that the Mazy River was the home for several nomadic groups who developed semi-permanent settlements around it in 3,500 BC
- The Mazy River could at one time be "panned" for silver
- From around 3,000 BC the Mazy River was being used for grazing and agriculture
- The Museum and Perplex City Academy is located to the South of the River.
- Ruins to the southeast of Newguard Seven Bridges were uncovered by the Rivers spring overflow
