Department of Arts

General

The department of arts covers fields as diverse as literature, drama, music, poetry, painting, sculpture and dance; both in practice and in theoretical study. The Academy has a long tradition of creating puzzle-related artworks; they hold an annual competition in which participants are challenged to use their medium to convey a concept from another medium. For example, participants may choose to convey a phrase without using words, or a visual impression using music. Perplex City artist Randall Tokei is a graduate of the programme.
