  • Has officially begun construction on revamping and modernisin g its infectious pathogen unit, including upgrades for vaccine production facilities, a separate triage area for potentially contagious patients, and a 200-bed quarantine zone
  • These revamps are funded by Council-approved money, defended by Nathan Earlywine
  • The expensive improvements are protested by Carrie Lopez of Citizens for Fiscal Frugality
