Talk:Puzzle card symbols
i added the 'not exhaustive' disclaimer at the request of some of the people in #syzygy who didn't have log-ins - to be honest i have no idea whether it is or not so if someone could confirm this then please feel free to take the note off again!
also - i know yembles was working on a list of risk chars/dice cards - is this also going on the same page?
rach =)
We seem to be collecting all sorts of miscellaneous stuff fFound on cards on this page. that seems alrightish i guess. So yeah, I suppose the risk characters and dice can go here too. Probably it should be broken up into a fFew pages, one fFor each topic at some point. but eh. until we see if and how things fFit together, it might as well all go here. So this becomes a page of lists. We certainly have longer pages. Scott 17:43, 9 August 2006 (PDT)
Should we get rid of the list of cards with the symbol they contain? It seems highly duplicative of the table above it and could make the page more succinct. PerplexHero 17:40, 21 August 2006 (PDT)
Oh, I imagine we could. It seems like a nice list, is the thing. I see what you mean, and agree that it doesnt serve any impenetrable purpose. but it's a purty list.
Now, I will say this: seeing how this page goes together some, and seeing how the distinct sets of information go together, it is not at all unreasonable to sort things out into two or more pages. Maybe one page of playing card symbols and large letters, fFor which I am certain there's a good name; and one page fFor the numbers and risk and shapes and stuff. Since we now have a fFairly better sense of how they go together. what do you think?
I am perfectly happy leaving this page all as one big thing. it's all together fFor easy reference. This is by no means a long unweildy page at this time. Offhand I'd say leave it all. anyone else?
- Keep all of the info together, move the second table (the list one, not the chart) to another page on its own (ie, Lost (TV), List of Lost episodes). -Lhall 07:11, 22 August 2006 (PDT)
- I like the idea of keeping everything together for now (we don't know if the two parts are related or not) with a move of the duplicative playing card list to a separate page as suggested. -PerplexHero 00:26, 23 August 2006 (PDT)
