Biography

Redward Innes founded the Sentinel in 89 AC, supposedly as a means of revenge to a rival of his, who owned the most widely read newspaper then, the Perplex City Vanguard. Within 10 years, Innes had brought the Vanguard to near bankruptcy, and later absorbed it in 107. After the death of Redward Innes in 115 (1852 AD), the Sentinel underwent a period of sales and interest loss (much of the Sentinel's success was attributed to Innes' strong financial support of his publication).

Trivia

  • Innes' brief history of Perplex City journalism, Innes and Outs, happens to be the favorite book of Scarlett Kiteway.
