PERPLEX CITY, SEASON ONE |
General
- Located in the Old Town
- About a half-hour walk from Foreman Station
Origin
- Originally built by Anthony Granier
- Given to Vianne Adamek when she retired as Academy Master
- Passed down through the Adamek family, always to the eldest child
- Currently owned and occupied by Sanjean Adamek
Third Power connection
- The great hall on the eastern side of the house contains what Sanjean calls the "Granier Mark" – the Third Power symbol
- The mark is worked in polished wood in the ceiling and stretches across three flagstones on the floor
- It was studied and photographed by Aiko Entrescore for a research project
Secrets
- The house contains a number of secret rooms and compartments
- One of these is in the panelling in the garden salon, found by Scarlett while she was staying there. When opened, it was found to contain only cleaning supplies.
- Another secret compartment was found in an alcove near the main bedroom
- It was a picture of a lighthouse in a mosaic frame, with raised tiles that were able to be rotated
- Scarlett enlisted our help in solving this puzzle.
- When opened, the panel was found to contain a small letter packet containing a note in Granier’s handwriting and a piece of paper containing a puzzle
