Gyvann's Day

General

• Gyvann's Day is one of 4 major holidays practiced by followers of Cubism.

• They are:
  • Restitution of the Cube - celebrated at the Winter Solstice, with three days of prayer, meditation. It is traditional to light cube-shaped candles at this time.
  • The Builder's celebration - at Spring Equinox, this is a time to lay foundations to new buildings.
  • Gyvann's Day - at summer Solstice, a cheerful celbration with burning torches and feasting, honouring Gyvann
  • The Lighting of the Way - at autumn equinox, the festival of re-affirming our dedication to the Cube and of witnessing Gyvann's message to the world.

• June 21st is generally the Summer Solstice.

• This date marks the longest day in the year in the northern hemisphere, and the shortest day of the year in the southern hemisphere.

• The Summer Festival leads up to June 21st, with activities, games, and large scale events.

• Other notable events on this date in 2005:
  • Joya's planned wedding date (which she failed to show up for)
  • Pietro Salk is supposed to meet with "The Advisor" with plans to go to the police
    • fell into a sudden and deep coma the day before; came out of coma the day after
