• The Fourth of the Seven Founders of Perplex City Academy

• The only Founder never to have been Master of the Academy

• An explorer of great renown

• Returned to the city in 245BC, bringing with him the vast collection of a lifetime's travel

• Was offered Mastership of the Academy in 243BC but declined, preferring instead to dedicate the remainder of his life to the development of the field of biological sciences in the Academy

• It is to him that the Academy owes their magnificent arboretum and the Senior Fellow's Garden, as well as its strength in his chosen fields

• Noi was extremely well-loved by both students and fellows and, on his death in 226BC, a statue to him was erected in what is now Founders' Gallery.
