• The Third Power is amost certainly connected to the Theft of the Receda Cube.

Trail of Discovery

• We had heard the name "The Third Power", first on a website run by the Cubist group The Brotherhood of the Six.
  • We asked Violet to lookup a book on the subject of the 3rd Power for us, though she didn't immediately respond.

• Pietro Salk's Salk logs contained a doodle of a shape.
  • The Final Salk Log is not a log at all, but is a graphic. The text reads:

(4) People needed 3P: Monica claims still extant

• It is believed "3P" refers to The Third Power.

• Earth Citizens were soon ushered down a long and winding trail, known as The Receda Trail.
• At the trail end, we discovered information about something happening on 22-OCT-05.

• And at the end of that day, we pieced together bits of information and eventually discovered: 3PGroupwareManager

• Meanwhile, Violet was starting to come forward with some information about the book we asked her to look up.
  • It turns out the book was almost purposefully vandalized
  • The subject matter is mostly batty, but seems tomention, in several places, the Third Power, and the Receda Cube.

Codenames "V", "Q", "K" and "C", were hired to do the Theft. They are tied to the deaths of Fran Mendling, Bernardo Holyoke, Pietro Salk, Monica Grand, Isaac Cymbalisty, Anna Heath --- but someone else got to The Cube first. Who? And Why? "We never held it, It was already gone."

The Third Power lead us all over creation .. only to beat us over the head in the end. The jerks.

The Third Power They are an ancient society of very secret intentions. Pietro Salk tipped the ice-berg, and it cost him his life. The Police has brought them to their knees during Operation Bayonet, but they have been around a long time, and they aren't likely to be stopped so easily. They have Operatives on Earth, as well is in Perplex City. V appears to be a #2 man, but who does #2 work for?
