Perplex City Information Game Overview Puzzle Cards are being sent to Earth by Sente, the Perplex City Academy staff, and Mind Candy to find the missing Receda Cube. The citizens of Perplex City desperately want the Cube returned as it is a cornerstone of their society. The next step to finding The Cube is to complete many Puzzle Cards and get clues to the location of the cube. The Perplex City Academy Games have run for centuries, with roots much older than the city itself. Historically, games were an element of celebration, during various Cubist holidays. Exhibition matches run throughout the year, combing the city for starling athletes. Knockout competitions begin 1 August, winding up to the much anticipated championship final on 14 January. One of the core games played is Clash. It is an extremely popular sport, where two players go head-to-head on a series of seven Puzzle cards. Alluding to this ancient game, people across the city give Puzzle Cards to friends and family, commemorating holidays. The Puzzle Cards on Earth are a direct reference to puzzle cards in play in the game Clash. The PCAG website contains a bevvy of information about the games, as well as the city's folklore and culture.
